Georgia Tech has developed an app that gives 50 breast cancer patients in Georgia personalized recommendations and other information. MyPath begins as a mobile library of information compiled from the ACS (American Cancer Society) and other organizations. From there, it can be personalized with each patient’s diagnosis, treatment plan and procedures. The team is working on making it available to download which would make the app open to many more users.

The app offers:

  • A library of resources form the ACS and other organizations
  • Personalized reccomendations
  • Preparation suggestions for treatment or surgery
  • Emotional support
